Since 2005, the Musial Awards have united America’s greatest sports figures in St. Louis to celebrate extraordinary sportsmanship. Named for Stan “The Man” Musial—whose career embodied class, humility, and generosity—the awards spotlight athletes and moments that honor the best in athletics and humanity.
Produced by the St. Louis Sports Commission and the National Sportsmanship Foundation, with Maryville University as presenting sponsor, the Musial Awards take place each year the Saturday before Thanksgiving at the historic Stifel Theatre and air nationally on CBS. Icons like Wayne Gretzky, Hank Aaron, Arnold Palmer, Albert Pujols, and Sister Jean have all been honored for their integrity and civility.
